The truly absurd thing is that Britney is being investigated by Child Protective Services for this isolated incident. As much as I despise this woman’s music, if this sort of irresponsibility with her child was a regular occurrence it would be reported endlessly in the press. When I hear about protective services getting involved in all sorts of affairs and elementary school children getting arrested out of there classrooms I can’t help but think our government may be taking too active a role in the parenting process.
I think Britney Spears is an irresponsible person, period. Beside's stemming from the fact I abhor her music...
However, I do agree with Ben. The government is taking too active role in the parenting process. More often then not.
If she wrecks, that kid is goin' flyin', you can tell just by looking at the picture.
However, Child Protective Services is obviously overkill.

I like the fact she was caught on tape. I have a teacher who's related to Britney but no one in my school likes her. It's become an insult.
I agree with political insanity that she isn't above the law and Im glad she was caught on tape. This just indicates her immaturity as a parent. Who in their right mind would put their baby on their lap while driving obviously she wasn't.
Priorities? lol...
